The results are sent to the nominator (teacher, administrator, counselor or community leader) and the student/parents.
Yes! As long as each nomination is submitted separately.
All selection announcements are sent approximately 8 weeks after the application deadline and 4-5 weeks prior to the start of DBA and the school year. Every nomination is notified whether it was selected for the DBA Youth Foundation Scholar Program or not. The results are sent to the nominator (teacher, administrator, counselor or community leader) and the student/parents. In order to facilitate this process, it is imperative that all nominators include their correct, up-to-date email address as well as parent/student contact information (phone number/email address) to ensure they can be contacted with results.
Once selections are made and parents/students are notified, the DBA Youth Foundation will send all necessary materials to the students/parents. This includes, but is not limited to, DBA timelines, parental approval form, contact information sheet and requests for other pertinent information.
Nominations will be disqualified if they do not meet requirements. Please review the requirements carefully.
